ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police Noon police station have arrested a wanted member of a notorious snatcher gang involved in numerous snatching and theft activities. The accused was identified as Afraz. Police team also recovered cash and weapons from his possession. Cases have already been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
During preliminary investigation, the accused confessed to being involved in several criminal activities. Further investigation is underway. SSP Operations Muhammad Shoaib Khan stated that extensive operations are being conducted against accused involved in motorcycle theft and street robberies in Islamabad, resulting in a significant decrease in such crimes in the federal capital. He directed all officers to continue the crackdown against criminals and ensure they are brought to justice. Citizens are also requested to cooperate with the police and immediately report any suspicious activity or object to the concerned police station or emergency helpline Pucar-15.
