ISLAMABAD: Following the directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police continues its indiscriminate operations against criminal elements involved in thefts and other crimes in the federal capital.
As part of these efforts, the Shahzad Town police team arrested a key member of a gang involved in several theft cases. Police team also recovered a stolen five laptops and mobile phones worth millions of rupees from the nabbed accused.
The arrested accused has been identified as Asam Liaquat. Cases have been registered against him. During the initial investigation, the accused confessed to being involved in multiple theft incidents. Further investigation is ongoing.
