ISLAMABAD: Ambassador of Germany to Pakistan, Bernhard Schlagheck called on Leader of the House in Senate, Senator Dr. Shahzad Waseem and discussed with him issues of mutual interests. During the meeting held here on Wednesday, they discussed bilateral cooperation in development sector, trade, investment, energy, technology and exchanging skills.
Speaking on the occasion, Senator Dr. Shahzad Waseem said that Pakistan highly values its longstanding relations with Germany and diplomatic ties spread over seven decades.
German Ambassador congratulated, Dr. Shahzad Waseem for taking charge as head of the PTI’s Diplomatic and International Affairs Wing. He said that Pakistan holds key importance in the international scenario and Germany was keen to promote bilateral economic and parliamentary relations.
