HARARE: Zimbabwe’s regular captain Sean Williams failed to fully recover from injury, will miss first Test against Pakistan which is starting tomorrow here at Harare Sports Club.
According to Zimbabwe Cricket, Williams is recovering from a soft tissue injury to his left
hand. He played in the last game as Zimbabwe were in the run to win their first-ever T20I series after upsetting Pakistan in the second contest.
Brendon Taylor has been made the stand-in captain of Zimbabwe for the first Test. – Agencies
