ISLAMABAD: IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, on International Women’s Day, stated that women police officers serving in Islamabad Police are not only a source of pride but also a valuable asset.
He added, the Women Police Station and the Digital Women Police Station operating in Islamabad Police are working very efficiently. At both of these police stations, the issues of women citizens are addressed and resolved promptly.
The aim is to provide immediate assistance to women and ensure an effective system for resolving the problems they face. He further stated that the role of women in Islamabad Police is in no way less than that of male officers.
All women police officers in Islamabad Police are demonstrating their best abilities in every department while working shoulder to shoulder with their male counterparts. Women police personnel are also playing a remarkable role in law and order, crime control, and community policing.
IGP Islamabad further added that Islamabad Police is providing a better working environment for women officers to perform their duties. Providing women with equal opportunities and a safe environment is essential for social development.
The IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi also paid tribute to the brave mothers, sisters and daughters of the martyrs and ghazis of Islamabad Police.
