Rawalpindi: Pakistan’s former captain and skipper of Quetta Gladiators has said that he worked really hard to improve himself after being dropped from the national team.
“I worked on my fitness, performance, and everything which I could improve to put myself back on track. I trained hard during the free time I got in the last six months and still aim to do more,” he said while talking to the media after his team clinched exciting PSL 5 ninth contest against Islamabad United by five wickets.
It must be noted here that Sarfraz played an important role in Gladiators’ third win in the tournament so far. He scored 33 runs off 20 balls, especially when his team needed runs on the scoreboard.
The wicket-keeper batsman recently took social media by storm after showing immense improvement in his fitness. He lost weight too which got applause from cricket fans from across the country.
