Wuxi: The Taihu Talent Development Conference commenced in Wuxi, East China’s Jiangsu province.
The opening ceremony welcomed 35 academicians from China and abroad, along with representatives from 18 prominent Chinese universities, the Yangtze River Delta Integrated Development City Alliance, entrepreneurs, and other distinguished guests.
Du Xiaogang, Party secretary of Wuxi, highlighted the city’s longstanding tradition of cherishing talents at the event. In this new era, Wuxi views talents as its primary strategic resource and is dedicated to fostering a robust talent pool.
Du extended a warm invitation to high-profile professionals from a variety of fields to come to Wuxi for academic pursuits, to provide insights to the city, and to invest there, thereby promoting the trans-formation of new technologies and the cultivation of innovative industries and business models. He pledged that Wuxi will offer a more open and inclusive environment and deliver more efficient ser-vices to every entrepreneur who chooses to establish themselves in Wuxi.
The opening ceremony marked the inauguration of Wuxi’s four regional innovation and cooperation centers in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Xi’an.
