LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Yasmin Rashid has criticised the governance of the incumbent government, asserting Form-47 government is trying to make the poor poorer. Speaking to the media after her appearance in the anti-terrorism court (ATC), she said according to the State Bank of Pakistan, the debts have increased in the last two years.
The revenue generated from the budget will be paid in interest on loans, she added. She criticised the loan from global lenders, stating Pakistan was going to more destruction. She insisted that her party leaders were being subjected to oppression, and new cases were being registered against them.
PTI women leaders Aliya Hamza and Sanam Javed were handed over in judicial remand. She said this is the first time in the history of Pakistan that doctors were being handcuffed, referring to crack down on young doctors.
She lashed out at the government, saying taxes had burdened the common man and Inflation and unemployment increased poverty and farmers had been ruined. –Agencies
