ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday extended the interim bail of former president Asif Ali Zardari until January 19, in a case related to a suspicious transaction of Rs8 billion in a money laundering case.
The former president sought an extension in his bail and exemption from the court appearance owing to his medical condition. The court will now continue the further hearing of the case on January 19. Former president Asif Ali Zardari’s medical report was submitted, Monday, with the IHC stating that he’d sustained head injuries during a fall.
