ISLAMABAD: Following the special directives of IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police are continuing effective crackdowns and search and combing operations across the federal capital to ensure the protection of life and property of citizens, curb crime, and arrest criminal elements.
In this regard, Islamabad Police arrested 14 accused, and recovered 1,200 grams of hashish, 3,600 grams of heroin, 1,852 grams of ice, 50 bottles of liquor, and five pistols of different bores along with ammunition from their possession. Additionally, seven proclaimed offenders were also arrested.
During the search operations, 96 individuals, 92 houses, 02 shops, 60 motorcycles, and 19 vehicles were thoroughly checked. For further verification, seven suspicious individuals and six motorcycles were shifted to police stations for verification purposes.
