ISLAMABAD: Accountability process is being exercised among Capital Cops. ICCPO Dr Akbar Nasir Khan took note of biased investigation of cops in various cases and their actions of shadowing criminals willingly.
According to details, 5 SIs (Sub-Inspectors) were suspended for their biased probe of various cases. AIG Investigation has been tasked to conduct inquiry against the suspended cops.
ICCPO stated that no officer would be allowed to misuse his powers. He directed all Investigation Officers to take up and follow cases on merit and to probe them with honesty. Moreover, masses can register their complaints at 1715.
