Inter-provincial gang of car lifters busted, Five vehicles recoverd

ISLAMABAD: Anti carlifting cell (ACLC) of Islamabad has busted an inter-provincial gang of car lifters and recoverd five stolen vehicles from the nabbed gangsters, a police spokesman said on Tuesday.
According to details. Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar Khan has ordered crackdown against car lifters and curb incidents of cars theft in the city.
Following these orders DIG (operations) Waqar Ud din Syed assigned special task to SP (Investigation) Dr Syed Mustafa Tanveer who constituted special team under supervision of In-charge ACLC Malik Liaqat Ali along with ASI Syed Abrar Shah, Zakar Shah and other officials.
This police team succeeded to bust an inter-provincial gang of car lifters and recoverd five stolen vehicles from two nabbed gangsters identified as Adil Khan and Imran.
the registration number of recovered vehicles are as fellows: Suzuki Khyber (RIT-5446); Honda Civic Model 2005 color black, Suzuki Mehran (LRB-3571); Suzuki Mehran (MN-5382) and Suzuki Mehran (AWR-402).
During the preliminary investigation, they have confessed to take away the vehicles form various areas of Islamabad and Rawalpindi and later selling tehm in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
IGP Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar Khan and DIG Iperations Waqar Ud Din Syed have appreciated performence of ACLC team and announced commendation certificates along who arrested these gangsters.
