Weather to remain hot, humid in Pakistan

LAHORE: The weather will be hot and humid in most parts of the country on Thursday, the Meteorological Department said. However, strong winds and thunderstorms are expected in some districts of northeastern Punjab, eastern Balochistan, Sindh and Kashmir. During the last 24 hours, the weather has remained hot and humid in most parts of the country. However, some areas of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Sindh received rain with strong winds and lightning. 16mm rain was recorded in Sargodha, Chakwal 1mm, Para Chinar 4mm while Chilas and Bagrut received 1 mm of rain. Yesterday, Sibbi recorded highest temperature of 47 celsius while Turbat and Shaheed Benazirabad recorded 44 degrees Celsius.
