Young girl killed in Indian CFVs along LoC

RAWALPINDI: An teenage girl was killed while six others were injured in Indian firing along the Line of Control (LoC), the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Wednesday.
According to the ISPR, Indian troops targeted the civil population in the Hot Spring sector along the de facto border.
“An 18 years old girl, a resident of Fatehpur village, embraced shahadat (martyrdom) while six innocent people including two women and two girls got injured in Fatehpur and Tahi villages,” the military’s media wing said.
However, “Pakistan Army troops responded effectively and targeted those posts which initiated fire,” the statement added.
According to ISPR, India has committed 1,877 violations of the 2003 ceasefire agreement this year in which 15 civilians, including six women and five children, lost their lives and 144 injured.–ISPR
