ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Medical & Dental College in collaboration with Dr. Akbar Niazi Teaching Hospital conducted an awareness seminar and physio walk on World Physiotherapy Day 2022.
Renowned professors and doctors from various health institutions, physiotherapy students, and the college management participated in the seminar and walk to spread awareness about healthy lifestyle as well as the preventive measures and treatment options for good health.
Chairman IMDC Dr. Ghulam Akbar Khan Niazi graced the event with his presence and paid tribute to all physiotherapists for their invaluable contributions that they make to society.
Yasir Khan Niazi, Managing Director of IMDC, expressed on this occasion that the physiotherapy field is ever evolving so along with the introduction of latest curriculum, workshops and seminars like these are always helpful in educating doctors and students about the latest techniques and modern researches in the field.
The speakers stressed upon the need of raising awareness about the importance of physiotherapy for enabling people to move well and live their life independently. The students thanked the IMDC and ANTH management for organizing such an informative seminar.
Imran Ali Ghouri, Head of Communications, told that the college and hospital management is determined to keep adopting modern techniques and introducing latest equipment to be able to provide the best possible physio as well as all other medical facilities to the patients.
