-COAS lays floral wreath at Martyrs’ monument at Quetta Garrison
RAWALPINDI: General Nadeem Raza, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) paid farewell visits to Naval Headquarters and Air Headquarters, Islamabad, said a statement released by military’s media affairs wing here on Tuesday.
During the visits, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee called on Chief of Naval Staff Pakistan Navy Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi and Chief of Air Staff Pakistan Air Force Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu.
The CJCSC expressed his satisfaction on the combat readiness of Pakistan Navy and PAF and appreciated their resolve to safeguard the maritime and aerial frontiers of the country, the statement said.
The Naval and Air Chief thanked the outgoing CJCSC for playing a vital role in enhancing jointness amongst Tri-Services, it added.
Earlier upon arrival at Air and Naval Headquarters smartly turned out contingents presented Guard of Honour to General Nadeem Raza, the statement concluded. – ISPR
