Capital Cops conduct mock exercise at Parliament House

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Police conducted a mock exercise at the National Assembly with a purpose to deal with any possible emergency situation and to ensure the safety of life and property of the citizens.
According to details, on special orders of the IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the mock exercises by the Islamabad Capital Police are being conducted in different areas of the city.
Officials from counter terrorism department (CTD), CDA, fire brigade, Sergeant at Arms and police officials from Security Division participated in the mock exercise.
The main purpose of the mock exercise was to test the state of preparations of CTD and police officials in which the reach time was observed who, after receiving a call approached the scene according to the standing order procedure (SOP).
Islamabad Capital Police is taking all out efforts to secure the life and property of the citizens and no stone would be unturned in this regard.
Citizens are requested to call Pukar-15 for any information and any suspicious activity.
