ISLAMABAD: PS Ramna and PS Nilore teams arrested two wanted members of bike lifter and snatcher gang involved in numerous motor bikes lifting and snatching activities and recovered a stolen motorbike, cash and arm with weapon from their possession.
Following the special directions of Islamabad Capital City Police officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad Capital Police had categorically started a crackdown against criminal elements in order to save the precious lives and property of citizens.
Following these directions, the Ramna police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending a wanted member of the bike lifter gang. The accused were identified as Ahmed Aziz.
Police team also recovered a stolen motorbike from his possession. Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway. During the preliminary investigation, the accused confessed to being involved in numerous bike lifting activities in various areas of the cities.
Furthermore, the Nilore police team arrested an accused namely Sami Zamir and recovered snatched cash and weapon with ammunition used in crime from his possession.
Case has been registered against the arrested accused and further investigation is underway.
