ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Police apprehended 29 outlaws including two thiefs, one bike lifter and four professional baggers from different areas of the city during the last 24 hours and recovered stolen goods, bikes, drugs and weapons from their possession.
Following the special directions of Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad Capital Police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directions, the Industrial Area police team arrested two accused namely Amoual Masih and Siraj Masih involved in theft activities and stolen valuables from their possession. The Aabpara police team arrested a wanted bike lifter namely James Jozaf and recovered three stolen motorbikes and weapon used in crime from his possession. The Secretariat police team arrested an accused namely Sawal Tariq and recovered one 30 bore pistol from his possession. The Kohsar police team arrested an accused namely Shoaib Aziz and recovered 711 gram heroin from his possession. The Humak police team arrested two accused namely Naseer Ahmed and Safdar Hussain and recovered two 30 bore pistols from their possession. The Nilore police team arrested two accused namely Sultan and Muhammad Yousaf and recovered 1120 gram heroin and one 30 bore pistol from their possession.
Similarly, the Karachi Company police team arrested three accused namely Muhammad Saleem, Ejaz and Abu Matloob and recovered seven wine bottles and 20 liters of alcohol from their possession. The Tarnol police team arrested an accused namely Ahmed Ullah and recovered 1370 gram heroin from his possession. The Sangjani police team arrested an accused namely Muhammad Hamad Abid and recovered 1370 gram heroin from his possession, while police team arrested an accused namely Zahid Hussain involved in illegally selling petrol. The Sabzi Mandi police team arrested two accused namely Umar Shahzad and Muhammad Bilal and recovered 535 gram hashish and 110 heroin from their possession.
Furthermore, the Shams Colony police team arrested three accused namely Muhammad Yousaf, Basher and Ayaz Khan and recovered two 30 bore pistols and 520 gram hashish from their possession. The Lohi Bher police team arrested three accused namely Taimoor Khizar, Wajahat Masood and Waleed Ahmed and recovered 1147 gram heroin, one 30 bore pistol and four wine bottles from their possession. The Shahzad Town police team arrested two accused namely Nasir Mehmood and Salman and recovered 20 liters of alcohol and one iron punch from their possession.
Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
