ISLAMABAD: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza participated in an Iftar gathering with police officers at the Zero Point checkpoint. On this occasion, other police officials were also present.
SSP Operations Islamabad stated that the police remain highly active during Sehri and Iftar to ensure the protection of citizens. He further explained that, in addition to checkpoints, stringent security measures have been implemented across the city. Security has been enhanced at shopping centers, major commercial hubs, and markets.
Additionally, mobile patrolling, foot patrolling, and an organized checking system have been introduced to eliminate any loopholes in security arrangements.
He emphasized that the Islamabad Police have taken effective measures to curb criminal elements, resulting in a significant reduction in crime rates. The crackdown against criminals will be further intensified to discourage unlawful activities, ensuring maximum relief for citizens.
Moreover, the police will continue to promote community policing by addressing public concerns on a priority basis.
