IGP reviews welfare projects, directs completion of NPH

ISLAMABAD: IGP Islamabad/MD National Police Foundation Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi held an important meeting at the Central Police Office. The meeting was attended by DIG Headquarters Malik Jameel Zafar, AIG Logistics Abdul Haque Umrani, AIG General Syed Inayat Ali Shah, and other senior officers of the National Police Foundation.
During the meeting, the IGP Islamabad/ MD NPF conducted a detailed review of matters related to the welfare of police officers and personnel. Progress on the National Police Hospital, the National Police Foundation education system, and other welfare projects was also discussed.
On this occasion, the IGP Islamabad issued clear directives to all officers, stating that the welfare of police officers, personnel, martyrs families, and their children must be given top priority, and all possible effective measures should be ensured in this regard.
He further directed that all welfare projects should be made more active and result oriented under a coordinated strategy so that deserving individuals can receive timely and maximum facilities.
He also instructed that the construction work of the National Police Hospital be completed as soon as possible, while maintaining the highest standards. He expressed his commitment that this hospital, equipped with modern medical facilities, will play a key role in providing quality and prompt healthcare services to police officers, personnel, and their families.
Emphasizing the education sector, the IGP/ MD National Police Foundation directed that the NPF education system be aligned with modern requirements. He stated that quality and modern education should be ensured not only for the children of police officers and personnel but also for the children of citizens, so that the institution can achieve a distinguished position in the field of education.
He also stressed improvement in curriculum, professional training of teachers, and provision of modern educational facilities. Regarding other welfare projects, he instructed that transparency, merit, and effective monitoring must be ensured so that the benefits of these projects reach all people without discrimination.
He emphasized that all welfare initiatives should be further improved through digitalization to enhance transparency and accessibility, and that an effective complaint redressal system should also be activated.
IGP Islamabad/MD National Police Foundation Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi stated that the police force is an important pillar of society, and the welfare of its officers and personnel is their top responsibility.
He reaffirmed their commitment to providing the best facilities not only to their officers but also to the families of martyrs and their children. He added that making the NPF a strong, transparent, and public friendly institution is a shared responsibility, and all resources will be utilized to achieve this goal.
