ISLAMABAD: The Federal Constitutional Court of Pakistan convened a full court meeting on Monday under the chairmanship of Chief Justice Amin-ud-Din Khan to deliberate on key administrative and judicial reforms aimed at enhancing institutional performance and expediting the delivery of justice.
The meeting was attended by all judges of the court, along with Registrar Mohamed Hafeezullah Khan. The discussions focused on improving operational efficiency, strengthening case management, and reinforcing the court’s commitment to timely adjudication. Emphasizing the constitutional requirement of swift justice, the chief justice directed all benches to adopt effective case management practices to significantly reduce the existing backlog of cases.
He stressed that prompt disposal of cases is essential to maintaining public confidence in the judicial system and upholding the constitutional order.
The meeting also reviewed ongoing capacity-building initiatives within the institution. The chief justice appreciated in-house training programmes for ministerial staff (BS 8–16), noting that such efforts are vital for enhancing administrative competence and professional standards.
Officials said the training modules include information technology skills, workplace discipline, and office ethics, all aimed at building a modern, efficient, and responsive institutional framework.
The chief justice highlighted that continuous professional development of staff is crucial for ensuring administrative excellence and institutional integrity.
Reaffirming the court’s commitment to transparency and accountability, the chief justice underscored the need to maintain the highest standards of professionalism across all levels of the institution.
The Federal Constitutional Court reiterated its resolve to uphold the rule of law and ensure the delivery of justice in an efficient, transparent, and timely manner.
