ISLAMABAD: A dignified farewell ceremony was organized at the Aiwan-e-Sadr Security division in honor of Inspector Mukhtar Ahmed, who retired from Islamabad Police. SP Aiwan-e-Sadr Tahir Khan, attended the ceremony as the chief guest. While, other police officers were also present on the occasion.
SP Aiwan-e-Sadr appreciated the services rendered by the retiring police inspector for the department and stated that retirement is a part of service, whoever begins service will one day retire.
He added that the officer served the police department for a long time, and during service, everyone should strive to perform such deeds that bring honor to their name and ensure they are remembered with respect.
He further emphasized that all officers should pledge to serve the public to the best of their abilities and seek the pleasure of Almighty Allah through their service. He noted that the officer spent a valuable part of his life serving the police department and the public, and in return, the department also granted him respect, dignity, and status, for which he should be grateful to Almighty Allah.
SP Aiwan-e-Sadr also assured that if the retired officer faces any personal or official issues, his office doors will always remain open. On this occasion, the retiring police inspector expressed his happiness over the honor and thanked the officials. At the end of the ceremony, the chief guest appreciated the services of the retiring Inspector Mukhtar Ahmed, presented him with gifts, and extended best wishes for his future.
