US President Donald Trump has praised Pakistan’s political and military leadership, calling both Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim “absolutely great” during a media interaction before departing for China.
Responding to a reporter’s question on whether he is reconsidering Pakistan’s role as mediators, Trump said: “No, they are great. The field marshal and the prime minister of Pakistan have been absolutely great.”
