ISLAMABAD: DIG Security Rana Umar Farooq visited Parliament House where, along with senior officers, he thoroughly reviewed the security arrangements.
During the visit, he inspected the entry and exit points, checking posts, surveillance systems, and the performance of security personnel deployed on duty. On this occasion, officers briefed the DIG Security regarding the existing arrangements and security measures.
DIG Security directed the concerned officers to further strengthen and make the security of Parliament House foolproof, while ensuring strict checking procedures at all entry and exit points. He emphasized that personnel deployed on security duty must demonstrate complete vigilance and professional responsibility so that any emergency situation can be handled promptly and effectively.
He further stated that the security of all institutions located within the High-Security Zone remains the top priority, and all available resources are being utilized in this regard. He expressed satisfaction over the existing security arrangements and issued further necessary instructions to senior officers for additional improvements.
