ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Wednesday issued a power suspension programme for Thursday in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.
According to an IESCO spokesperson, power supply will remain suspended from 7:00 am to 11:00 am in Islamabad Circle including Pir Sohawa, Kund Rajgan, Scheme-II, King Hamad, Chatta Bakhtawar, F-8/1, F-8 Markaz, Meezan Bank and HC3-PIMS feeders.
In Rawalpindi Cantt Circle, electricity supply will remain suspended during the same hours in areas fed by Bank Road-I, City Center, Pakistan Railway, Tipu Road, Dr Farman Ali, CMH Flats, Basali, Jarar Camp, Bhali and Jatha Hathial feeders.
Similarly, under Rawalpindi City Circle, power supply will remain suspended from 7:00 am to 11:00 am in Committee Chowk, Arya Mohallah, Zafar-ul-Haq and Fawara Chowk feeders.
In Attock Circle, electricity supply will remain suspended in PM Colony, Air University and Qazi Abad feeders from 7:00 am to 11:00 am.
Likewise, in Jhelum Circle, power supply will remain suspended in areas served by M. Riaz Shaheed and Dina-3 (Rohtas) feeders during the same timings.
Meanwhile, under GSO Circle, from 08:00 am to 06:00 pm, 132-KV Chakwal- Bhagwal- Talagang, 132KV Kahuta City- Palandri, and surrounding areas will remain closed.
IESCO management expressed apology for the power outage and added If the work is completed ahead of time, the power supply can be restored even before the scheduled time. –Agencies
