ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari on Thursday approved several important legal bills and official summaries.
According to a press statement issued by the Presidency, the president approved Islamabad Capital Territory (Prohibition of Plastic Book Covers) Bill 2026. This environmental protection initiative was introduced by Senator Sherry Rehman.
The president also approved the Code of Criminal Procedure (Amendment) Bill 2026.
Additionally, the president approved the leave abroad of the Governor of Sindh from 21 May to 3 June 2026. –Agencies
