The sound of an explosion heard in Bushehr was caused by a response from Iran’s air defences, Bushehr’s deputy governor for political and security affairs, Ehsan Jahanian, said, Al Jazeera reported, citing a report from the state media outlet IRNA.
Jahanian added that a military headquarters on the outskirts of Bushehr was struck by what he described as a projectile. –Agencies
