ISLAMABAD: A delegation of participants of the 47th Mid-Career Management Course visited the Central Police Office Islamabad. DIG Law & Order and Training Muhammad Atique Tahir and AIG Operations Hamza Humayun briefed the delegation and facilitated their visit to Islamabad Police’s modern Command, Control, Communication and Coordination Center.
During the visit, the delegation was given a detailed briefing on the working mechanism of Islamabad Police, Safe City systems, command and control mechanism, practical measures for crime prevention, intelligence-based operations, professional capabilities of the CTD, and various aspects of security strategies.
DIG Muhammad Atique Tahir briefed the delegation that Safe City cameras, modern technology, data analytics and intelligence-based operations are being utilized to ensure early identification and effective prevention of crime. He also highlighted how the modern command and control system has further improved the effective monitoring of operational activities and rapid response.
At the end of the visit, the DIG Law & Order presented a commemorative shield to the visiting delegation. The delegation appreciated the professional performance of Islamabad Police, its modern reforms, and effective use of technology, describing it as a model worth emulating for other institutions.
