ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, Sardar Muhammad Yousuf on Wednesday chaired a review meeting on arrangements for Hajj 2027 and directed officials to ensure timely completion of all facilities in line with the timelines set by Saudi Arabia.
The meeting was given a detailed briefing on ongoing Hajj arrangements and the procurement of various facilities in Saudi Arabia.
Federal Secretary Abrar Ahmed Mirza, Additional Secretary and officials of the Hajj Wing attended the meeting while Director General (DG) Hajj Abdul Wahab Soomro, Director Hajj Makkah Arif Aslam Rao and other officials participated online from Saudi Arabia.
The minister directed the officials to complete all arrangements within the stipulated timelines and ensure that the required facilities were made available to Pakistani pilgrims, said a press issued here.
“All resources should be utilized to ensure quality facilities for Hajj pilgrims,” Sardar Muhammad Yousuf said.
He stressed close coordination among all concerned officials to ensure smooth and timely completion of Hajj-related arrangements.
