ISLAMABAD: The two-day auction of commercial plots in Sectors G-13 and G-14, being organised by the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA), will commence on Tuesday, September 15.
An FGEHA spokesperson said all preparations for the auction had been finalised, while the Auction Management Committee had reviewed arrangements to ensure a transparent and well-organised process.
The spokesperson said the responsibilities of the relevant departments had also been reviewed in detail, while the growing interest shown by investors and the business community in the commercial plots was taken into consideration. He said commercial plots in strategically located areas of G-13 and G-14 would be offered to investors, businesspersons, developers and individuals interested in commercial real estate.
The spokesperson said FGEHA was offering flexible payment facilities to facilitate investors, including payment of the outstanding amount in easy instalments over a period of two years, along with a 10 per cent discount on lump-sum payment.
He said investors could also avail themselves of the facility to pay the remaining amount in easy instalments after making an initial payment of 25 per cent.
Highlighting the strategic connectivity of G-13 and G-14, he said the sectors were well connected with major road networks and the Metro Bus system. The locations were approximately eight kilometres from the M-1 and M-2 motorways and around 12 kilometres from Islamabad International Airport.
The spokesperson invited investors, businesspersons and developers from Islamabad, Rawalpindi and other parts of the country to participate in the auction.
The auction will commence at 10:00 a.m. on both days at Aura Grand, Margalla Enclave, Main Margalla Road, E-11, Islamabad, and will conclude on Wednesday, September 16.
