ISLAMABAD: A bid to smuggle heroin to Riyadh was foiled at New Islamabad Airport on Thursday and a passenger was arrested
According to details, the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) and Airport Security Force (ASF) searched bagged of a suspected passenger Adil Khan hailing for Kohat and leaving for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia through PIA flight PK-9753.
During search, 1.85 kilogram heroin confiscated in the cutting board was recovered.
The accused off loaded and held.
A case was registered against him under NDPS Act and he was being investigated.
