-Laptops, cell phones, SIMS recovered

ISLAMABAD: PS Secretariat busted a network of fraudsters involved in online financial scams and recovered laptops, 15 cell phones and 35 mobile SIMs of various cellular companies. According to details, at a tip about the presence of a gang near Bari Imam, involved in financial scams, SP City Omer Khan constituted a special team under the supervision of SDPO Secretariat Iqbal Hussain. The team including PS Secretariat’s SHO along others, arrested three red-handed and recovered laptop, 15 cell phones and 35 mobile Sims of various cellular companies. The swindlers have been identified as Zaheer Abbass, Abil and Anees. The accused have further confessed of minting millions of rupees from simpletons on the pretext of BISP and jazz cash. They have admitted their involvement in such activities for the past one year.
SP City Omer Khan has appealed to the victims to co-ordinate with their relevant police stations. IGP Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar Khan and DIG Operations Waqar-ud-Din Syed have appreciated the performance of PS Secretariat team while announcing cash prizes and commendation certificates for the team members.

-Stolen motorbike, narcotics recovered
ISLAMABAD: Capital Cops booked 15 outlaws and recovered stolen motorbike, hashish, wine and weapons from their possession. According to details, following the directives of IGP Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfqar Khan and DIG Operations Waqar-ud-Din Syed, all officials of Capital Cops have accelerated their efforts to curb activities of anti-social elements and drug pushers.
Following these directions PS Karachi Company apprehended a bike lifter namely Atta and recovered stolen motorbike from him. PS Secretariat caught accused Muhammad Usman and recovered 123 gram hashish from him. PS Bara Kaho booked accused Waqas Masih and recovered 50 liters of alcohol from him.
Similarly, PS Banigala busted accused Saif Ali and recovered 118 gram hashish from him. PS Tarnol nabbed accused Sheriz and recovered 1.210 gram hashish from him. PS Noon apprehended accused Sajjad and recovered 230 grams hashish from him.
PS Shams Colony, on the other hand, arrested Mohsin Raza and recovered five liters of alcohol from him. PS Shahzad Town nabbed accused Zakar Akber involved in illegally petrol selling. PS Khanna caught accused Patris Masih and recovered 18 liters alcohol from him while police team apprehended accused Juma Khan and recovered 120 kites from him. Separate cases have been registered against the accused while further legal proceedings were underway against them. During special checking in the whole city, police also arrested five proclaimed offenders.
DIG Operations Islamabad Waqar-ud-Din Syed has appreciated the performance and directed all police officials for high vigilance and monitoring against those involved in anti-social activities. He said that Islamabad Police would also safeguard it’s youth from various evils like use of drugs and ensure brighter future of them. He said that it is the collective responsibility of the every person of the society to remain alert against those involve d in criminal activities in their surroundings and inform police for action against them.
