ISLAMABAD: DIG Security Islamabad Rana Umar Farooq visited Aiwan-e-Sadr, where he met police officers and personnel deployed on duty and gave them a detailed briefing regarding security matters and professional responsibilities.
During the visit, the DIG Security also inspected checkpoints and other security points established around Aiwan-e-Sadr. On this occasion, he thoroughly reviewed the security arrangements, checking procedures, and the performance of the personnel.
DIG Security appreciated the professional capabilities of the officers and personnel and directed that the security of entry and exit points be further strengthened and made more effective to ensure the protection of public and private properties under all circumstances.
He further stated that maintaining complete vigilance, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility during security duties is the need of the hour. Islamabad Police will continue to take all possible measures for the protection of citizens’ lives and property.
