ISLAMABAD: DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq and SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza visited various mosques, imambargahs and duty points in the city. They met Islamabad Police officers and officials on duty, encouraged them, and appreciated their excellent performance of duties.
On the occasion, DIG Islamabad directed all officers to remain fully prepared at all times to deal with any law and order situation in accordance with the law.
He said that Islamabad Police will not allow any disruption of peace and order in the federal capital and will utilize all available resources while taking necessary measures to protect the lives and property of citizens as well as public and private property.
He also directed all senior police officers to brief the personnel to deal with any law and order situation and to personally check all duty arrangements. All officers and officials on duty should be deployed with complete equipment. All officers should visit different areas of the city and ensure the implementation of these instructions.
