ISLAMABAD: IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, visited the Traffic Police Headquarters in Faizabad. On this occasion, Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Islamabad Muhammad Sarfraz Virk, SP Traffic and other police officers were also present.
IGP Islamabad formally inaugurated the paperless licensing process of Islamabad Traffic Police as part of modernizing the licensing system. He personally inspected the paperless counters and reviewed in detail the facilities being provided there.
On this occasion, he stated that providing maximum convenience to citizens and saving their valuable time is their top priority.
Previously, obtaining a license required medical forms, photographs, and other documents; however, now the entire system—from medical examination to license issuance—has been made paperless. He further added that the use of modern technology will not only enhance transparency but also enable the provision of faster and more efficient services to the public.
