Farewell given to SI Muhammad Fareed

ISLAMABAD: A farewell ceremony was held in honour of Sub Inspector Muhammad Fareed at Senior Superintendent of Police Counter terrorism Department office here on Friday.
SSP CTD Captain Retired Muhammad Zeeshan graced the occasion as chief guest. SP CTD Tahir Khan and other senior police officials were also present. The ceremony was held in recognition of the services of the retiring Sub Inspector of police, a police public relations officer said.
Speaking at the occasion, SSP said that retirement is part of the service as the one who joins the service has to retire one day. He asked the serving police officials to do their best to earn respect for the department. He was of the view that public service only could earn a good name for the officials and the department.
He recognized the services rendered by Sub Inspector Muhammad Fareed and added that the department in return gave him respect and honour. He presented a police shield and flower bouquet to Sub Inspector Muhammad Fareed and also expressed best wishes.
Sub Inspector Muhammad Fareed joined Islamabad capital police as a Constable and earned the rank of Sub Inspector through his performance and dedication for the work.
