ISLAMABAD: Under the leadership of Federal Minister for Housing and Works, Riaz Hussain Pirzada, Secretary Housing and Works, Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Mehmood, and Director General, Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA), Captain (Retd.) Zafar Iqbal, vigorous efforts were underway to transform Sectors F-14 and F-15 into modern, aesthetically developed, and environmentally sustainable residential sectors of the capital.
Continuous measures were being taken to accelerate development activities, address the concerns of allottees, ensure the provision of essential infrastructure and services, and facilitate the early completion of the project.
Regular review meetings, field visits, and administrative interventions were being undertaken to achieve these objectives.
The Authority’s leadership reiterates its commitment to developing Sectors F-14 and F-15 as environment-friendly, climate-resilient, sustainable, and exemplary residential communities in line with modern urban planning standards.
The timely completion of the project and early provision of plots to allottees remained among the Authority’s highest priorities.
FGEHA expressed its sincere appreciation to all allottees who have regularly fulfilled their financial obligations and contributed positively to the development of the project. Their cooperation has played a significant role in maintaining the pace of development activities.
At the same time, a small number of allottees had continuously failed to deposit their outstanding installments since 2016 despite being provided multiple opportunities to regularize their dues. To thoroughly examine the matter, a special committee was constituted on the directions of the Executive Board of FGEHA.
The committee carefully reviewed all relevant records, applicable rules, regulations, and legal requirements and recommended to cancel the allotment of six (6) plots whose owners had failed to meet their financial obligations since 2016.
This decision has been taken strictly in accordance with applicable laws to remove impediments to project progress and safeguard the rights and interests of compliant allottees by improving the cash flow for the project development.
A list of allottees in Sectors F-14 and F-15 with outstanding dues has been prepared; cancellation proceedings would be initiated against defaulters as per law.
FGEHA reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to transparency, merit, rule of law, and public interest in all administrative and development matters. The Authority remained dedicated to ensuring the expeditious completion of Sectors F-14 and F-15 and transforming the aspirations of allottees into reality.
