ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry visited Kohsar, Shalimar and Secretariat Police Stations, where he reviewed the ongoing development work under the SIPS protocols, facilities available to police officers and officials and services being provided to citizens.
During the visits, the IGP Islamabad inspected various sections of the police stations and received briefings from the concerned officers regarding the progress of development work and facilities for citizens.
He directed the officers to complete all ongoing development projects within the stipulated timeframe and in accordance with prescribed standards, without compromising on quality.
The IGP Islamabad emphasized the provision of better facilities for police officers and officials and the creation of a welcoming environment for citizens at police stations. He directed the concerned officers to ensure timely, effective and quality police services, prioritize the resolution of citizens’ issues, and further improve public facilitation and service delivery at police stations.
IGP Islamabad Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry said that transforming police stations in line with modern requirements, making them citizen-friendly and equipping them with improved facilities are among the key priorities of Islamabad Police. These measures aim to facilitate citizens in accessing police services while providing a better working environment for police officers and officials.
