ISLAMABAD: Secretary Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), Jameel Qureshi, held an engaging session with officers of the Senior Management Course at the National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA), Islamabad, focusing on Pakistan’s evolving investment landscape and the role of effective public-sector coordination in advancing investment-led economic growth.
The session provided an overview of Pakistan’s expanding investment opportunities and the institutional mechanisms being strengthened under SIFC to facilitate investors and translate identified opportunities into tangible economic outcomes.
Secretary SIFC highlighted the Council’s investor-centric approach, smarter regulatory coordination and whole-of-government framework, which brings relevant public-sector stakeholders together to improve facilitation, address institutional interfaces and support a more responsive investment environment.
The interaction also focused on the importance of effective coordination among government institutions in streamlining processes, improving service delivery and creating greater clarity for domestic and international investors.
The officers actively participated in the discussion and raised insightful questions on investment facilitation, regulatory improvement and institutional coordination. The constructive exchange underscored the importance of collaborative leadership and coordinated public-sector efforts in strengthening Pakistan’s investment ecosystem.
The session reaffirmed SIFC’s commitment to promoting investment facilitation, strengthening institutional coordination and supporting Pakistan’s economic development through a more efficient and investor-focused public-sector framework.
