ISLAMABAD: An awareness seminar was organized by the Pakistan Red Crescent Society to promote awareness of environmental pollution. The event was attended by individuals from various walks of life.
The Education Wing of Islamabad Traffic Police made a special appearance at the event. Alongside the seminar, an awareness walk and a cycling rally were also organized to spread the message of environmental protection.
German and Pakistani officials of the Red Crescent, the Zonal DSP Traffic, representatives of the Education Wing, and ITP personnel actively participated in these activities. The Education Wing provided participants with detailed awareness regarding road safety and traffic laws, aiming to promote responsible behavior among citizens.
Speakers emphasized that collective efforts are essential to reduce environmental pollution and that adherence to traffic laws and the use of eco-friendly modes of transportation can play a significant role in this regard.
At the conclusion of the seminar, a commitment was expressed to continue such activities in the future to further raise public awareness about environmental protection and road safety.
