Jets targeted the naval military zone in the southern Iranian city of Konarak in two stages, media reported, citing the IRNA news agency.
Speaking to IRNA, Governor Mohammad Younes Haqqani said two explosions were heard in the naval military area and that “this area was targeted by enemy fighter jets in two stages”.
He added that rescue, security and other relevant agencies were immediately deployed to the scene, and said an investigation into the attack and its details is under way. –Agencies
