Member of thieves’ gang caught, valuables recovered

ISLAMABAD: PS Margalla team have arrested a wanted member of a thief gang and recovered laptop, mobile phone and valuables from his possession.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police had categorically started a crackdown against criminal elements in order to save the precious lives and property of citizens.
According to the details, a Margalla police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending a wanted member of a thief gang. The accused was identified as Shahzaib Kazmi. Police team also recovered a stolen laptop, mobile phone, bag, registration book and valuables from his possession.
Case has been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway. During the preliminary interrogation, the accused confessed to being involved in several incidents in various areas of the city.
CPO Operations Syed Shehzad Nadeem Bukhari appreciated the performance of the police team and added that it is the prime responsibility of police to provide relief to the citizens and every possible effort would be made to ensure it.
He further directed all zonal officers to intensify the crackdown against the criminal elements. “Safety and security of the citizens is our foremost priority and no laxity will be tolerated in this regard”, he added.

10 caught, arms recovered

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Police apprehended 10 outlaws from different areas of the city and recovered weapons with ammunition and iron punch from their possession. Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directives, the Sangjani police team arrested an accused namely Eid Muhammad and recovered one 30 bore pistol from his possession. Likewise, the Khanna police team arrested two accused namely Hamayyun Sardar and Haikal Masih and recovered iron punch and one 30 bore pistol from their possession.
Similarly, the Kirpa police team arrested an accused namely Rustam Ali and recovered one 30 bore pistol from his possession. Sabzi Mandi police team arrested an accused namely Muhammad Shakeel and recovered one 30 bore pistol with ammunition from his possession.
During the crackdown against proclaimed offenders and court absconders, the Islamabad capital police teams arrested five absconders and proclaimed offenders from different areas of the city. Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway. CPO Operations Islamabad Syed Shehzad Nadeem Bukhari directed all senior officials for effective crackdown against the accused involved in drug peddling and possessing illegal weapons. The performance of police officials in this regard would be reviewed on a regular basis, he maintained.

Following the special directions of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Dr Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police had categorically started a crackdown against criminal elements in order to save the precious lives and property of citizens.
According to the details, a Golra police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending a wanted member of a thief gang. The accused was identified as Iqbal Hassan. Police team also recovered stolen valuables from his possession. Case has been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
