ISLAMABAD: Following the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police has intensified search and combing operations in various areas of the federal capital to curb crime and crackdown on criminal elements.
The grand search and combing operations were conducted under the supervision of SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza, and monitored by the respective zonal SPs. During these search operations, a total of 419 individuals, 220 households, 65 shops, 19 hotels, 161 motorcycles and 68 vehicles were thoroughly checked. Additionally, 16 suspicious individuals and 19 motorcycles were also shifted to the police station for further verification.
