Pakistan remains ready to host [US-Iran] negotiations if both parties agree, Foreign Office spokesperson Tahir Hussain Andrabi told Media on Monday.

His remarks came shortly after US President Donald Trump revealed that Washington had held “very strong” talks with Tehran, noting that the two sides had reached “major points of agreement.”

Meanwhile, the Financial Times reported that Pakistan is positioning itself as a key mediator, seeking to broker an end to the US‑Israeli military campaign against Iran.

The report added that senior Pakistani officials have been facilitating back‑channel communications between Tehran, Steve Witkoff, and Jared Kushner.
