ISLAMABAD: A delegation of senior government officials participating in the first Project Director Certification (PDC) Program at the National Defence University (NDU), led by Brigadier Sheraz Afzal (Retd.), Director of the Inter Disciplinary Professional and Leadership Development Center visited the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) Headquarters here Thursday.
Managing Director, PPRA Hasnat Ahmed Qureshi, briefed the participants on reforms introduced by the PPRA in institutional strengthening and regulatory modernization, with a particular focus on the implementation of the e-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System (EPADS) and capacity building initiatives.
Highlighting the importance of transparency, efficiency, and accountability in public procurement, the MD PPRA urged the officers to exercise due diligence in their professional responsibilities, noting that responsible conduct in procurement can help save significant public resources and ensure value for money.
