ISLAMABAD: Candidates dissatisfied with their measurements were provided an opportunity for re-measurement to ensure merit, transparency, and equal opportunities. According to the details, review boards for the physical tests were conducted at Police Lines Headquarters as part of Islamabad Police Recruitment 2026, aimed at facilitating candidates and ensuring transparency throughout the recruitment process. Under the supervision of Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Law & Order and Training Muhammad Ateeq Tahir and Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Security Rana Umar Farooq, candidates who were not satisfied with their physical measurements during the physical test were provided an opportunity for re-measurement.
During the review process, the candidates’ physical measurements and relevant stages were reassessed in accordance with the prescribed procedure. The entire process was conducted transparently to ensure that no candidate was treated unfairly and that every candidate was given an appropriate opportunity to have their concerns addressed.
The concerned officers and staff ensured candidate facilitation, discipline, and strict compliance with the prescribed procedures during the review boards. Candidates were provided full assistance in presenting their concerns and undergoing the re-measurement process.
Senior police officers stated that the recruitment process is being conducted strictly on the principles of merit, transparency, impartiality, and equal opportunity.
All candidates are being assessed according to the prescribed standards and rules to ensure the transparent selection of eligible and suitable candidates.
