ISLAMABAD: Capital Cops apprehended seven outlaws from different areas of the city and recovered liquor, drugs and weapons with ammunition from their possession.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directives, the Secretariat police team arrested two accused namely Muhammed Ajmal and Muhammed Zaman involved in drug peddling and liquor selling and recovered 1280 gram hashish and 03 liquor bottles from their possession.
Likewise, the Sangjani police team arrested two accused namely Asif Ullah and Arshad Khan involved in drug peddling and recovered 1320 gram hashish from their possession. Khanna police team arrested an accused namely Safeer Hussain Shah involved in possessing illegal weapons and recovered one 30 bore pistol with ammunition from his possession.
Similarly, the Sihala police team arrested an accused namely Saqib Naveed and recovered one pistol 30 bore with ammunition from his possession. The Industrial Area police team arrested an accused namely Sami-ur-Rehman and recovered one 30 bore pistol with ammunition from his possession. Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
