ISLAMABAD: Following the special directives of IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza conducted a special briefing for officers of the Capital Patrol Unit. During the briefing, he reviewed matters related to field policing, effective patrolling, immediate police response, crime prevention, and the protection of citizens.
SSP Operations directed all officers to ensure that all official vehicles of the Capital Patrol Unit remain fully functional, well-maintained, and ready for deployment at all times, enabling an effective response during any emergency situation.
He further instructed that regular inspections of vehicle fitness, equipment, and communication systems must be ensured during patrol operations. He directed officers to further enhance active, effective, and result oriented patrolling across the city to prevent crime, curb criminal activities, and protect the lives and property of citizens.
He emphasized maintaining strict vigilance over suspicious individuals, vehicles, and unusual activities, while ensuring immediate and effective action upon receiving any information.
SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza stated that the Capital Patrol Unit is an important operational wing of Islamabad Police, with the primary objective of providing prompt assistance to citizens, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining a crime-free atmosphere. He directed all officers to perform their duties with utmost dedication, professionalism, and a spirit of public service, while ensuring a strong and effective police presence throughout the city.
He reiterated that Islamabad Police will continue to utilize all available resources to maintain law and order, effectively combat crime, and protect the lives and property of citizens in the federal capital.
