SSP Ops highlights ADRC’s role in peaceful dispute resolution

ISLAMABAD: The annual ceremony of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee (ADRC) was held in Islamabad in a dignified manner, with Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, attending as the chief guest. The ceremony was attended by senior police officers, ADRC Chairman Tayyab Nawaz Malik, committee members, and representatives of civil society.
Addressing the participants, SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza said that the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee provides an excellent platform for the peaceful and effective resolution of citizens’ disputes. He said that resolving disputes through mutual understanding, dialogue, and consensus is one of the fundamental objectives of the ADRC.
He emphasized that the ADRC is playing an important role in saving citizens valuable time and resources by providing an accessible and effective mechanism for the amicable resolution of disputes. He added that the committee is also helping strengthen the relationship of trust between the police and the public.
SSP Operations Islamabad said that the peaceful resolution of disputes promotes tolerance, brotherhood, and positive social attitudes within society. He described the ADRC as an excellent example of public service and community policing, where different segments of society work together to address citizens’ concerns and promote harmony.
SSP Operations Islamabad appreciated the efforts of the ADRC members and expressed the hope that the committee would continue to play an effective role in resolving disputes and serving the community. He reiterated that Islamabad Police remains committed to providing citizens with timely, accessible, and dignified services and will continue to take effective measures to strengthen community policing and facilitate the peaceful resolution of public disputes.
